Are you kidding me? Open enrollment across the state, taxpayer funding to religious schools, and higher standards for teachers? All at the same time? What a waste of taxpayer time and money.
If he wanted to reform Maine schools, all he had to do was propose the repeal of all the "No Child Left Behind" era programs and push for higher pay for performing teachers. Done.
I am one of the 61% that did not elect this imbecile as Maine's governor.
